BEEF POOR BOYS
 

6 lb. rump roast
3 lg. onions
1 tsp. salt
Cloves of fresh garlic
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. Accent

Place meat in roasting pan half full of water. Bury cloves of garlic in half dozen or so spots in meat. Slice onions and drape over the meat. Cover and roast at 300 degrees for 5-6 hours.

Leave meat in broth overnight. Next day shred or slice meat. Put meat into crock pot. Mix seasonings with broth and add to meat. Simmer 3 hours or longer. Serve on poor boy buns.
