MEAT LOAF WITH TOMATO GRAVY
 

1 1/2 lbs. ground meat (Chuck)
1/2 sm. green pepper, chopped
2 tsp. parsley
3/4 c. onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic
2 tbsp. salt
6 shallots, chopped
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tbsp. Lea & Perrins
1 egg
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 lg. jar prepared tomato gravy or 1 qt. homemade tomato gravy

Combine all ingredients except tomato sauce. Mix well. Form in loaf shape in 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 1/2 hour at 325 degrees. Remove. Pour off excess fat. Pour tomato over all and bake about 45 minutes longer. Slice and serve with spaghetti.
