PEACHTREE SPARE RIBS
 

For the grill:

4 lbs. spare ribs
1 jar junior size baby food peaches
1/3 c. ketchup
1/3 c. vinegar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp. ground ginger

Cut ribs into serving size pieces. Place in large pot. Cover with water and boil. Reduce heat to simmer and let cook until tender, 45 to 50 minutes. Drain. Place in shallow dish.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Marinate in refrigerator overnight. Drain well, reserving marinade.

Grill ribs over hot coals 40 to 50 minutes depending on thickness. Baste with marinade frequently while grilling.
