2 to 2 1/2 lb. top round London broil beef, prepared by cutting top of meat with knife in crisscross 1/8 to 1/4 inches deep cuts 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 2 tbsp. dry or fresh parsley 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper Salt to taste 2 oz. rye whiskey or bourbon Put meat into a large oven pan. Drop garlic into cuts of meat. Place remaining ingredients into cuts. Preheat oven to 325 degrees; bake. Place meat into oven and cook approximately 45 minutes. Remove from oven and slice meat into 1/8 inch slices. Serve. Makes 4-6 servings. |
