BARBEQUED BEEF OR PORK
 

6 lb. boneless beef or pork
1 celery stalk, chopped
2 med. onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 bottle ketchup
3 tbsp. barbeque sauce
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. Tabasco
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. water

Cut meat into 3" or 4" pieces and place in large pot. Mix all ingredients with meat and simmer all day, or at least 5 hours, covered. When the meat becomes very tender, pull each piece out and using a cake pan, shred the meat with two forks, until all meat is shredded. Put the shredded meat back into the sauce and cook without the lid until thickened. Serves 25 people, with meat being spooned onto buns.
