4 lbs. pork spareribs
Water
1 med. onion, sliced
1 1/2 c. ketchup
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. paprika
3/4 tsp. chili powder
Place ribs in 8 quart pan. Add water to cover and sliced onions. Over high heat boil; reduce and simmer 1 hour or until almost tender. Drain, cover, and chill until ready to grill.
Combine rest of ingredients. Place ribs on grill and brush often with sauce. Turn ribs occasionally.
May boil ribs right before serving. If so, place sauce on ribs before placing on the grill.
