HAM LOAF AND RED CURRANT SAUCE
 

1 lb. ground ham
3/4 lb. ground pork
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk

Combine all ingredients; mix thoroughly. Shape in loaf for shallow baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours. Makes 5 servings. Spoon on Red Currant Sauce.

RED CURRANT SAUCE:

1 1/2 c. currant jelly
1 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 tbsp. horseradish

Heat and stir sauce until smooth. Serve extra sauce in bowl.
