BEEF CHANDLIER
 

1 (3 lb.) roast - 7 bone or chuck is fine
White sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. oil
1 can tomato sausage
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. liquid smoke

Salt and pepper roast. Sprinkle with white sugar. Rub in with hands. Melt butter in pan; add oil. Brown roast on both sides. Place roast in another pan that has been lined with heavy duty foil. Add remaining ingredients to pan that was used to brown roast. Bring to a boil. Pour over roast and seal the foil with butchers seal. Bake at 250-300 degrees for 3-4 hours. This can also be put over barbecue coals. Makes a cheap cut of beef tender and good. Ingredients can be varied for taste.
