GROUND BEEF 'N CURRY
 

2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. butter
2 lbs. ground beef
4 tsp. curry powder
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 juicy tomatoes, diced or 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
4 c. cooked rice
Condiment (see below)

Saute garlic and onion in butter, then add ground beef and brown. Add seasonings and tomatoes (break up canned tomatoes if using those). Heat thoroughly. Serve over cooked rice. Makes 4 servings.

CONDIMENTS:

2 sliced bananas
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. coconut, shredded
1 c. mango chutney, if available

Fill separate bowls with condiments and place on table with small serving spoons or forks and allow people to put what they want on their curry.
