2 lb. beef steak, sliced thin 1/4 c. oil 2 pkg. frozen snow peas (thawed & drained) 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. sugar 1 lg. onion, chopped SPICY MARINADE: 2 tbsp. oil 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. catsup 1 tbsp. dry sherry 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 clove garlic, minced Mix all butter ingredients together, add beef, cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours. Heat wok to 375 degrees. Add 2 tablespoons oil. Add peas and onions. Cook until almost tender, stir in soy sauce and sugar; cook 1 minute longer. Remove from wok. Add oil; cook beef 3 minutes. Add marinade sauce. Add vegetables and cook for 2 minutes more or until beef is done. Serve with rice or noodles. Serves 6. |
