BEEF TERIYAKI KABOBS
 

1/2 lb. sirloin tip steak
1 c. bottled Italian dressing
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. grated fresh ginger root
1 (8 oz.) jar mild jalapeno peppers

Cut beef into very thin strips using a sharp knife and cutting at an angle or across the grain of the meat. Combine next 3 ingredients for marinade. Marinate strips for at least 1 hour before grilling.

To prepared kabobs, remove beef strips from marinade and drain. Place 1 or 2 peppers lengthwise on top of each marinated beef strip. Holding beef and pepper together, thread onto bamboo skewer. Place skewers on bottom rack of grill. Cook at medium heat for 5-8 minutes, basting with marinade during grilling. Do not overcook. Yields 4-6 servings.
