BARBEQUED HAM

1/2 lb. boiled ham slices (about 6)
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard (Dijon or dry)
1 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. (1/4 c.) catsup
1/2 c. water
Crispy rolls or buns

Melt (or micro) the butter. Add the flour to thicken. Add the remaining ingredients, stir well. Cook (or micro 3 1/2 minutes) until thickened. Layer the ham slices (may be cut in half) in an oven-proof dish, criss-crossing the slices for easier serving. Pour the sauce mixture over the ham slices. Allow to marinate for at least 4 hours (or overnight).

To serve, heat in micro or in oven until hot, and serve on crispy rolls or buns. Serves 3-6. A really great light supper dish with salad or baked beans.
