6 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. pecans 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 c. herb seasoned stuffing mix 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. chopped parsley 1/4 tsp. pepper 6 center cut chops, 1 1/2" thick with pocket for stuffing 1/2 c. apple juice In large skillet melt 4 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add celery, pecans and onion, saute until tender. Mix in stuffing mix, parsley, salt and pepper. Stuff mixture into pork chops. Melt remaining butter in skillet, slowly brown chops on both sides. Transfer to shallow baking dish, pour apple juice over chops. Cover, bake 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tender. |
