EASY NATCHITOCHES MEAT PIES
 

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. parsley, chopped
Canned biscuits
1 1/2 lbs. ground pork
1 clove garlic, chopped
2/3 c. green onions, chopped
2 med. white onions, chopped
Red, black pepper & salt to taste

Cook ground beef and pork until pink is gone. Add flour, onions, garlic and baking powder. If sticky add two tablespoons cold water. Add green onions and parsley. Season highly with salt, red and black pepper. Cook until done. Chill meat mixture before baking pies. Drain meat mixture well. Roll out each biscuit and fill with meat mixture; fold in half and seal together. Pies may be fried in hot grease or baked in 400 degree oven until brown.
