6 pork chops, 1/2 in. thick, salt, pepper 1 tbsp. cooking oil 3/4 c. water 1/2 c. finely chopped celery 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper; brown in oil in skillet. Place in shallow baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over chops. Cover; bake at 350 degrees 1 hour, basting occasionally. |
