1 extra large can baked beans 6 loin pork chops (not too thinly sliced) 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. yellow mustard 1 lg. onion Salt & pepper to taste Set oven at 350 degrees. In a 9"x13" or 9"x15" heavy baking dish; empty can of beans; stir in the brown sugar and yellow mustard. Cut onion in slices and scatter over top of the pork chops after you have placed pork chops on top of baked beans. Salt and pepper chops. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour 20 minutes. Remove foil and cook for another 10 minutes. Suggestion: Serve with baked potatoes and cinnamon applesauce. |
