HOMEMADE LASAGNA
 

1 onion, diced
3 lbs. ground beef
2 lg. cans tomato sauce
Garlic salt
Salt & pepper
1 tbsp. oregano
1 lb. lasagna noodles
1 lg. carton cottage cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese
2 eggs

Brown hamburger and onion. Add tomato sauce, garlic salt, salt, pepper and oregano. Simmer 3 hours. Cook lasagna noodles. Layer noodles (in both directions) in a 13 x 7 inch pan with meat sauce.

Mix cottage cheese and eggs. Spread over noodles. Continue layers with meat sauce, Mozzarella cheese, noodles, cottage cheese mixture, meat sauce, etc. Top with Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Casserole can be frozen at this time or baked for 40 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool 5 minutes and serve.
