PORK SPARE RIBS
 

For moist, tender and delicious spare ribs make as follows: 1/2 c. white Karo syrup 1/3 c. wine vinegar 1 tbsp. garlic salt Juice of 1 lemon Dash of Tabasco Dash of Worcestershire sauce

Allow above to simmer in saucepan for 10 minutes.

Select desired amount of spare ribs and marinate for 30 minutes in lemon juice. Drain lemon juice away after 30 minutes and place in greased oven dish. Cover ribs with above sauce and then cover dish. Place into oven at 350 degrees and roast for 2 hours. Check ribs from time to time and baste with more sauce. Remove cover and baste very good and cook for another hour with cover removed. Do Not Allow Ribs To Become Too Dry.
