1 lb. canned or fresh crabmeat 1 lg. egg 1/4 c. mayonnaise 1 tsp. seafood seasoning 1/4 tsp. white pepper 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 c. cracker or bread crumbs Green pepper Carefully remove all cartilage from crabmeat. In a bowl, mix together egg, mayonnaise, seafood seasoning, white pepper, Worcestershire sauce and dry mustard. Gently mix in crabmeat until evenly blended. Lightly mix in crumbs. Shape into 6 cakes. Deep fry in oil at 350 degrees until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes or saute in a skillet with a little oil for 5 minutes on each side. Makes 3 servings. |
