GREEN PEPPER STEAK
 

2 lbs. round steak (thin 1/4 inch thick)
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. oil
2 lg. green peppers
2 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Salt and pepper
Noodles or rice

Cut steak in strips and toss with soy sauce. Add salt and pepper. Brown on one side in oil. Cut up green peppers; mix cornstarch with water and add both to meat. Cover with lid (cook noodles). Cook and stir meat over medium heat until meat is done, peppers are tender and sauce is thickened. Add butter to noodles. Makes 4 servings.
