5-6 lb. fresh picnic or pork roast 2 onions, sliced 4-5 whole cloves 2 c. water Place 1/2 sliced onion in bottom of crock pot. Add pork, other 1/2 sliced onion on top of pork, cloves and water. Cook on low 8 to 12 hours. Remove pork from pot and remove bones and fat. Also discard any remaining juice in pot. Chop meat and place back in crock pot. Add 1 diced onion (optional) and BBQ sauce (approximately a 16 ounce bottle) or your own sauce. Cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. |
