BARBECUE BRISKET
 

1 (6 lb.) beef brisket
6 tbsp. liquid smoke
Onion powder to taste
Garlic powder to taste
1/2 c. butter
5 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. Worcestershire
5 tbsp. dry mustard
5 tbsp. celery seed
2 c. catsup
1 c. water

Rub brisket with liquid smoke and salt to taste. Wrap in foil. Place in roasting pan. Refrigerate overnight. Remove foil. Dust with onion and garlic powder. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Refrigerate overnight.

Drain, slice thinly return to roasting pan. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan. Cook until butter melts and brown sugar dissolves. Pour over brisket, cover with foil. Bake until heated through.
