3 lb. beef 3 lb. pork 2 onions, chopped 1 c. chopped celery 3 cans chop suey Vegetables 1 1/2 c. brown gravy Molasses 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. cornstarch Cooked rice Cut beef and pork into bite-sized pieces. Combine beef, pork, onion and celery; place small amount of fat in saucepan. Add meats mixture; cook, stirring until lightly browned. Add chop suey vegetables and 3 vegetable cans water; simmer for about 2 hours. Stir in molasses and soy sauce. Blend cornstarch with 1 cup cold water; stir into meats mixture in saucepan. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Serve over rice. |
