1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onions 1 garlic clove, minced 3 c. tomato sauce (8 oz. can) 1 tsp. dried orange leaves, crushed 1 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed 1/4 tsp. granulated sugar 1/8 tsp. pepper (optional) 8 oz. dry spaghetti, cooked and drained In medium skillet, brown beef with onion and garlic. Drain well. Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, basil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot spaghetti. |
