1/2 c. your choice steak sauce 1/2 c. mild, medium, or hot picante sauce 1 lb. flank or bottom round steak, thinly sliced 1 med. onion, thinly sliced 1 med. green pepper, cut into strips 1 tbsp. butter 8 flour tortillas, warmed Blend steak sauce and picante sauce. In non-metal dish, pour marinade over steak. Cover; chill at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally. In large skillet, over medium high heat, cook onion and pepper in butter for 3 minutes or until tender. Remove with slotted spoon; reserve. Add steak with marinade to same skillet; cook and stir for 8 minutes or until done. Add onion and pepper; cook until heated through. Serve with tortillas and your favorite fajitas toppings if desired. Serves 4. |
