1 c. warm water 2 tbsp. shortening or oil 1 pkg. yeast 1/4 tsp. salt 4 c. sifted flour Put into large mixing bowl water, shortening, yeast and salt. Let stand until shortening melts and yeast softens. Stir occasionally. Work in flour then knead on well floured board until smooth. Let rise until double. Spread on 2 pizza pans. Spread on basic pizza sauce. Choose topping and bake 25 to 30 minutes in hot oven. |
