BONNIE'S SPAGHETTI HOT DISH
 

16 oz. long spaghetti, cooked & drained
2 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1 (18 oz.) carton cottage cheese
1 lb. hamburger
2 tbsp. onion
1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes (or 1 qt. home canned)
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Cook spaghetti and drain; mix with 2 tablespoons butter. Beat 2 eggs and stir in 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese. Mix into the spaghetti and butter. Put into cake pan and cover with 18 ounce carton cottage cheese. Brown 1 pound hamburger with 2 tablespoons onion and add tomatoes (or 1 quart home canned), tomato paste, tomato sauce, oregano, sugar and garlic salt. (You may want to add some boughten spaghetti sauce mix too, depending on how juicy you want it. Can add a little more. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cover with Mozzarella cheese and put back in oven to melt. (If larger, bake longer to heat through.)
