1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 c. tomatoes (1 lb. can) 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1/2 c. water 1 bay leaf 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 8 oz. Mostacolli noodles, cooked and drained 1/2 lb. Velveeta, thinly sliced Kraft grated Parmesan cheese Heat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat, add green pepper and onion. Cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasoning. In a 2 quart casserole dish, layer half the noodles, meat sauce and Velveeta cheese; repeat layers. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 30 minutes. Yields 6 to 8 servings. |
