2 lb. ground beef 1 c. chopped green pepper 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained 2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. chili powder 1 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 garlic cloves, finely cut 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans, undrained 1 tsp. pepper Preheat pot on range top until over medium heat add beef and brown. Remove from stove; place pot on base. Add onions, peppers, garlic, tomatoes, kidney beans, salt, chili powder and pepper. Stir well. Cover and let simmer at mid setting for 7 hours. Makes 8-10 servings. Serve with your favorite trimmings and enjoy. |
