SHISH-KABOBS
 

2 lb. lean beef round or chuck cut in 1 1/2 inch cubes
1/2 c. salad oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Chunks of green peppers
Fresh mushrooms

Combine all ingredients except meat, chunks of green peppers and fresh mushrooms; mix well. Add meat and stir to coat. Refrigerate overnight or let stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

Thread on skewers along with green pepper chunks and fresh mushrooms. May be served with canned new potatoes which have been rolled in barbecue sauce and grilled on separate skewers.
