1 (16 oz.) pkg. pasta of choice
1 bunch of broccoli
1 purple onion
1 pkg. shredded carrots
10 cherry tomatoes
1 c. Parmesan cheese
1 c. bacon bits
1 lg. bottle of fat free Italian salad dressing
Cook pasta as directed on the package. Cut off the head of each broccoli stalk and chop the purple onion. In large mixing bowl combine the pasta, broccoli, onion and carrots. Pour the entire bottle of salad dressing over the pasta mixture and toss lightly. Place mixture in the refrigerator overnight or for several hours or allow salad ingredients to be marinated.
Immediately before serving, slice cherry tomatoes in half and place on the top of the salad. Add Parmesan cheese and bacon bits to taste. Number of servings 24 - 1/2 cup serving. Number of fat grams per serving 4 g. - 1/2 cup.
