2 c. ground green peppers 5 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. white vinegar Add: 1 (16 oz.) bottle pectin (Certo) 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. chili powder 1/3 c. lemon juice Boil peppers, sugar and vinegar. Then follow directions on Certo bottle. Makes 5-6 jelly glasses. Put jelly on cream cheese and crackers or toast points and serve as hors d'oeuvres. |
