1 lb. black eyed peas 1 lb. green beans 1 clove garlic Salt Pepper 2 qts. water Soak black eyed peas overnight, drain. Add water listed, add garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3 hours until done. Add cooked green beans. You can steam them in a steamer or put them in 2 quarts water and cook slowly for about 1 hour. Combine all ingredients. |
