RUSSIAN CREAM DESSERT
 

1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1 env. + 1/4 tsp. Knox unflavored gelatin
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
8 oz. Cool Whip
Strawberries
Raspberries
Blueberries

Heat water, sugar and gelatin over medium heat until the gelatin dissolves and becomes clear. Cool slightly. Beat in sour cream until smooth. Add almond extract. Beat in Cool Whip until smooth.

Pour into a 9 x 9 inch square pan and chill until set. (This also molds well). Serve with your choice of sliced berries. This is a light refreshing dessert. Serves 9.
