2 lbs. salmon steaks, 3/4 inch thick 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. teriyaki sauce 1/4 c. white wine 1 tbsp. sugar 3 tbsp. peanut oil 2 cloves garlic, pressed 1 tbsp. ground ginger 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper Combine all ingredients in shallow pan and marinate salmon steaks for at least 30 minutes. If broiling steaks, place on rack 6 inches from heat source. Broil 5 minutes. Baste with marinade, turn, broil 4 to 5 minutes more. If using outdoor grill, brush grill with oil so steaks don't stick and broil 4 to 6 minutes a side, using marinade to baste. Serves 4. |
