HERB & CRUMB - TOPPED FISH
 

2 lb. halibut steaks
1/4 c. butter, melted
Salt & pepper
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1/8 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
Dash garlic salt

Place fish in single layer on greased broiler pan. Brush with melted butter. Season with salt and pepper. Broil about 3-4 inches from heat for 8 minutes. Add dry bread crumbs, crushed thyme leaves and garlic to remaining butter. Sprinkle on fish. Return to broiler until crumbs are browned and fish flakes easily, about 3-5 minutes longer.
