BARBECUE SAUCE

2 tbsp. butter
1 diced onion
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. Worcestershire
Salt and pepper to taste

In a large skillet melt butter. Brown onion in butter and add remaining ingredients. Heat and blend 5-10 minutes.

Pour over country ribs, chops, or chicken. Bake covered at 350 degrees 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Uncover last 15 minutes.

This is unlike a brushed on barbecue sauce. I usually put my country ribs or 2 cut-up fryers in a 10 x 15 pan so they are in a single layer.
