1 1/2 to 2 lbs. good size cooked shrimp 4 tbsp. oil 1/2 lb. ground pork 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. sugar Dash of salt a& pepper 1 1/2 c. boiling water 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 egg Scallions for garnish Brown pork in oil. Pour soy sauce over it, stir. Add sugar, salt and pepper and boiling water. Stir. Cook over medium heat 10 minutes. Mix cornstarch and water and stir into mixture until thick and smooth. Take off heat. Beat egg and pour into mixture, working fast to mix into sauce. Add shrimp and stir. Top with scallions. |
