WALDORF ASTORIA SALAD DRESSING
 

2 1/2 oz. chopped onions
1/2 oz. chopped anchovies
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 pinch dry English mustard
1 pinch ground white pepper
1 oz. chopped garlic
2 oz. cider vinegar
1/2 oz. water
1/4 oz. salt
6 eggs
1/2 pts. salad oil

Break eggs in mixing bowl. Place in warm water. Mix onions, anchovies and garlic. Mix warm egg 4 or 5 minutes at low speed. Combine onion mixture and eggs. Gradually add 1/2 oil and 1/2 vinegar and blend. Add remaining oil and dry seasonings. Combine water and lemon juice, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Add to egg mixture and blend until creamy.
