3 lbs. confectioners' sugar 1 qt. (32 oz.) smooth or crunchy peanut butter 1 lb. butter 1 cake paraffin wax 2 lg. pkgs. chocolate chips 6 c. Rice Krispies (optional) Melt butter and work in peanut butter and sugar. Chill. Form into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Meanwhile in top of double boiler (or microwave) melt chocolate and paraffin wax. Insert round toothpick in peanut butter ball and dip into chocolate. Place on wax paper. When chocolate starts to harden, remove toothpicks. To cover up hole made by toothpick, dip the back of a spoon in small amount of chocolate and swirl over hole. When hardened, place balls in decorative candy papers. |
