HEATH BAR ICE CREAM DESSERT
 

1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
8 Heath candy bars, crushed

Put a layer of softened ice cream (using 1/2 of ice cream) in a Pyrex casserole dish. Sprinkle crushed Heath bars over ice cream. Use remaining 1/2 ice cream over Heath bars. Freeze. Top with chocolate sauce when ready to serve.

CHOCOLATE SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
3 c. sugar
4 (1 oz.) sq. chocolate
1 lg. can Pet milk
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt butter and chocolate; stir in sugar, 4 tablespoons at a time. Add salt and slowly add milk. Cook until sugar melts and saucy.

Note: Can layer ice cream and crushed Heath bars in dessert dishes for party desserts. Freeze. Top with sauce when ready to serve.
