There is no dessert more delicious than old fashioned homemade ice cream flavored with pure vanilla.

1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. Arrowroot
1/4 tsp. salt
4 egg yolks
2 tsp. pure vanilla
2 c. heavy cream

Combine all ingredients and freeze according to the directions included with your ice cream maker.
