HOMEMADE ICE CREAM
 

4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. cream
4 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. flour

Combine eggs, sugar, flour and salt. Add milk to mixture. Cook in double boiler until custard forms. Stir constantly to remove lumps. Let cook about 15 minutes. Cool, then add cream to vanilla. Pour into a container and place in freezer until frozen.
