CHOCOLATE LADY FINGERS DESSERT
 

1/2 lb. or 12 oz. lady fingers
2 (12 oz.) bags chocolate chips
4 eggs, separated
4 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. water
1/2 c. Vandermint or strong coffee (optional)

Melt chocolate and water. Add sugar. Add a small amount of the chocolate mixture to the yolks. Now add the yolk mixture to the remaining chocolate. Remove from fire and fold in beaten egg whites. Line pan with wax paper. Split lengthwise lady fingers into halves. Place lady fingers on bottom and sides of pan. Pour in a layer of filling, now a layer of lady fingers, etc. Place in refrigerator overnight.
