CRUST: 3 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter, softened 1 c. flour Add soft cream cheese to butter and mix well by hand. Gradually add 1 cup flour (will have to mix with hands as you would with pie crust). Roll into 24 small balls. Then mold into shape in small greased gem tins. FILLING: 3/4 c. dark brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. chopped walnuts 1 tbsp. melted butter Mix all together. Put 1 teaspoon into each cup. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. When cool sprinkle with confectionery sugar. |
