1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. milk
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 bag Hershey's kisses with almonds

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In mixer bowl, beat butter, sugars and vanilla until well blended. Add eggs and milk; beat well. Stir together flour, cocoa, soda and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture blending well. Stir in chocolate chips. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 11 minutes. Cool 1 minute; remove to wire rack and press a kiss in center of each cookie. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
