4 sq. semi-sweet chocolate 2 sticks butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler or microwave. Beat in sugar and eggs. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients then stir into chocolate mixture. Add nuts. Bake in jelly roll pan, greased and floured for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut when cool. Frost if desired. |
