GOLDEN SOUR CREAM COOKIES
 

1 pkg. Betty Crocker supreme golden brownie mix
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 eggs
1 c. dairy sour cream
1/4 c. butter, softened
Maple Butter Glaze (below)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients, except glaze, in large bowl. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake until almost no indentation remains when touched, 8 to 10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet; cool. Spread with Maple Butter Glaze. About 6 dozen cookies.

MAPLE BUTTER GLAZE:

1/2 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. maple flavoring
2 to 4 tbsp. hot water

Heat butter in 2 quart saucepan over low heat until golden brown; remove from heat. Stir in powdered sugar and maple flavoring. Beat in hot water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until smooth. If necessary, stir in additional hot water until of desired consistency.
