1 lg. box Ritz crackers 2 c. chopped dates 1 can Eagle Brand milk Combine dates and milk in double boiler and cook until it boils or becomes thick. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped walnuts and mix well. Spread 1 teaspoon on each cracker. Bake 7 minutes at 350 degrees - frost with cream cheese frosting. FROSTING: 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 c. butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. milk 3 c. powdered sugar Beat well. Make 7 dozen cookies. Freeze well. |
