1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
Candied cherries, cut in half
Confectioners' sugar

Thoroughly blend softened cream cheese, butter and sugar. Add flour; mix well. Shape teaspoons of dough in balls; press a cherry (red and green) half in center of each cookie.

Place on greased baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool; sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
